Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 package (16 ounce) dry elbow macaroni (cooked ,drained)
  • 1 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped (medium)
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped (medium)
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 package (8 ounce) mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can (28 ounce) crushed tomatoes (Italian)
  • 1 can (15 ounce) tomato sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded cheese (Italian cheese mix)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In stock pot, heat oil

  • Step 2: Add onion and bell pepper s and mushrooms . Add garlic

  • Step 3: Add tomato sauce and crushed tomatoes. Simmer 15 minutes

  • Step 4: Mix in pasta and season. Mix in cottage cheese

  • Step 5: Pour into 9x13 oiled casserole pan. Top with cheese

  • Step 6: Bake at 375 for 30 minutes
