  • 1 cup bread crumbs (Italian)
  • 2 to 4 teaspoon butter
  • 1 jar (14 ounce) pizza sauce
  • 4 slices (4 ounces) mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated

How to Make

  • Step 1: Beat egg and add salt, pepper, Italian seasoning.

  • Step 2: Dip chicken into egg batter then coat with bread crumbs.

  • Step 3: Melt butter in skillet over medium heat and saute chicken on both sides till brown, then arrange in slow cooker.

  • Step 4: Pour pizza sauce over chicken and cook on low for 4 hours.

  • Step 5: Layer mozzarella cheese over top and sprinkle Parmesan cheese.

  • Step 6: Cook for an additional 20 minutes.
