Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 cups of water
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 potatoes, cubed (red)
  • 1 celery rib, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large sauce pan, cook beef and onion over medium heat until the meat is not longer pink. Drain well.

  • Step 2: Meanwhile premix the flour with the milk. Set aside.

  • Step 3: Add the water, bouillon, salt, potatoes and celery to the meat mixture.

  • Step 4: Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until thickened and potatoes are tender.

  • Step 5: Stir in milk mixture and cheese. Heat thoroughly.
