Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 170 gram sourdough bread (1 piece) or gluten-free baguette, cut into 24 slices
  • Cooking spray oil
  • 3 tablespoon s low-fat cream cheese (spreadable)
  • 30 grams crumbled blue cheese
  • 3 tablespoons low-fat sour cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pear (unpeeled and quartered and core removed and thinly sliced)
  • Balsamic glaze, to serve
  • Thyme leaves, to serve

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 180C (fan forced).

  • Step 2: Arrange bread slices on a large baking tray and spray tops with cooking spray and bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown and then transfer to wire racks to cool.

  • Step 3: Meanwhile, mix the cream cheese, blue cheese, sour cream and garlic in a small bowl.

  • Step 4: Spread cheese mixture over bread slices and top with pear slices and a drizzle of balsamic glaze and top with thyme leaves and serve immediately.
