Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, smashed
  • 1 teaspoon ginger root (smashed)
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 316 grams dry rice (sweet rice, 2 cups uncooked)
  • 1 pound fresh chicken wings
  • 4 cups water
  • 8 grams chicken bouillon cubes (2 cubes)
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon safflower
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • FOR GARNISH
  • 4 large eggs (hard-boiled )
  • 4 green onions, minced
  • 1 lemon, whole (cut in 8 wedges)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In soup pot

  • Step 2: Saute in oil ,the wings

  • Step 3: When browned add onion garlic and ginger

  • Step 4: Add rice

  • Step 5: Add fish sauce water and bouillon

  • Step 6: Cover simmer 20 minutes until rice is cooked

  • Step 7: Add safflower and pepper. Stir

  • Step 8: Put in 4 bowls and add garnish
