Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon miso paste
  • 2 teaspoons grated ginger
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup red cabbage (finely shredded)
  • 100 grams snow peas (finely sliced)
  • 40 grams spinach, baby
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat and add oats and stir for 5 minutes until lightly toasted.

  • Step 2: Whisk miso and ginger with 3 cups boiling water and stir into oats and reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes until tender and thickened.

  • Step 3: Meanwhile, add eggs to a saucepan of warm water and bring to the boil and cook for 6 minutes and then drain.

  • Step 4: Divide oat mixture between serving bowls and add vegetables, halved boiled eggs and sesame seeds
