Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 chillies, long green seeded and chopped
  • 1 small red onion, quartered
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons coriander root, chopped root and stems
  • 1 stem lemongrass, white part only sliced
  • 2cm piece ginger, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest, finely grated
  • 1 teaspoon black peppercorns, whole
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds (or 2 teaspoon ground cumin)
  • 1 teaspoon coriander seed (or 2 teaspoons ground coriander)
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1-2 tablespoon vegetable oil

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place all ingredients in the bowl of a small food processor and process for 2 to 3 minutes, scraping down the side of the bowl occasionally, until finely chopped paste forms.
