Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 kilogram chicken wings (nibbles specified and mini drum on the wing)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes (optional)
  • FOR RANCH DRESSING
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise (100 grams)
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons dill, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoon chives, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon sweet paprika

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 200C.

  • Step 2: Line a baking tray with baking paper.

  • Step 3: Combine sugar, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, oregano, cumin, garlic, all spice and chilli flakes, if using, in a bowl and season and then add the chicken and mix well to coat.

  • Step 4: Arrange the chicken mixture in a single layer on the lined tray and bake turning occasionally, for 40 to45 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.

  • Step 5: Meanwhile, to make the ranch dressing, place the mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, mustard, dill, chives and paprika in a small bowl and stir until well combined and then season to taste.

  • Step 6: Arrange the chicken wings on a large serving plate and serve with the ranch dressing.
