Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 10 fresh (200 grams) dates, pitted
  • 56 grams coconut oil (melted, 1/4 cup)
  • 1/4 cup nut butter (natural)
  • 4 cups popcorn (lightly salted, roughly crushed)
  • 1 cup fruit and nut mix (roughly chopped)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place dates in a food processor and pulse to make a rough paste and then add coconut oil and nut butter and process until smooth.

  • Step 2: Scoop date mixture into bowl and add popcorn and fruit and nut mix and mix with a wood spoon until mixture binds.

  • Step 3: Line a large tray with baking paper.

  • Step 4: Roll 2 tablespoons of mixture into balls and place on tray and freeze for 30 minutes or until firm.

  • Step 5: Transfer balls to a large snap-lock bag and store in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
