Step 1: For perfect scrambled eggs, whisk eggs and cream in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.
Step 2: Melt butter in a non-stick frying pan over low heat and then add egg mixture and increase heat slightly and once mixture starts to set on the bottom of the pan, use a flat-edged wooden spoon to push mixture slowly around the pan (don't bread up mixture too much) until almost fully cooked.
Step 3: Remove from heat and serve with toast and chopped tomatoes or tomato slices if desired.
