Step 1: Preheat oven to 180C.
Step 2: Grease and line the base and sides of a 20cm square (base measwurement) cake pan with baking paper, allowing the sides to overhang.
Step 3: Place chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat and cook, stirring for 5 minutes or until butter and chocolate melt and mixture is smooth.
Step 4: Add the sugar and stir to combine and then stir in the egg and then add the combined flour and stir to combine.
Step 5: Add the extra white chocolate, half the chocolate drops and half the confetti and gently stir to combine.
Step 6: Pour mixture into prepared pan and smooth the surface and sprinkle with the remaining chocolate drops and confetti.
Step 7: Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean and set aside in the pan to cool completely.
Step 8: Cut into pieces to serve.
