Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Ginger root (5cm piece, peeled and cut into matchsticks)
  • 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 2 bunches (200 grams) pak choy (baby pak choy, cut lengthways into wedges)
  • 1 bunch (170 grams) fresh asparagus (woody ends trimmed)
  • 1/4 cup oyster sauce
  • Sesame seeds, toasted to serve

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat a wok over high heat and add the oil, ginger and garlic and stir-fry for 1 minute or until aromatic.

  • Step 2: Add the pak choy and asparagus and stir-fry for 1 to 2 minutes or until asparagus is bright green and tender crisp.

  • Step 3: Add the oyster sauce and stir-fry for 1 minute or until vegetables are coated in sauce.

  • Step 4: Transfer to a serving plate and sprinkle with sesame seeds to serve.
