Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 banana, whole (peeled and chopped)
  • 410 ml coconut milk (1 2/3 cups)
  • 42 grams pitted dates (6 fresh)
  • 2/3 cup smooth peanut butter (190ml)
  • Salt, pinch
  • 2 tablespoon cacao powder
  • TO SERVE
  • Dark chocolate, melted to drizzle
  • Peanuts, chopped to decorate

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place banana, coconut milk, dates, peanut butter and salt in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth and then transfer half the mixture to a bowl.

  • Step 2: Add cacao powder to remaining mixture and gland until combined.

  • Step 3: Divide the plain and cacao mixtures in alternating layers among ten 1/3 cup (80ml) ice-block moulds and then insert ice-block sticks and freeze for 6 hours or until firm.

  • Step 4: Unmould ice-blocks and drizzle with chocolate and sprinkle with peanuts.
