Step 1: Lightly grease an 18cm x 28cm rectangular slice pan and line the base and two long sides with baking paper, extending peper 2cm above pan edges.
Step 2: Place chocolate, syrup and butter in a large heatproof bowl and sit bowl over a saucepan of simmering water and stir until melted and smooth.
Step 3: Remove and cool before adding chocolate bars, biscuits/cookies and walnuts to chocolate mixture and stir to combine.
Step 4: Spoon into prepared pan and smooth over lightly, leaving jagged rough edges on surface.
Step 5: Refrigerate overnight or until set.
Step 6: To serve, lift slice from pan and place on a chopping board and cut into pieces.
Step 7: NOTE - Violet Crumbles can be replaced with honeycomb pieces.
