Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 500 grams dark chocolate (chopped, premium dark cooking chocolate)
  • 1/2 cup golden syrup
  • 150 grams unsalted butter (chopped)
  • 250 grams Violet Crumble chocolate bars (chopped)
  • 1 packet (250 grams) Scotch Finger biscuits (broken)
  • 1 1/2 cups walnuts, chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: Lightly grease an 18cm x 28cm rectangular slice pan and line the base and two long sides with baking paper, extending peper 2cm above pan edges.

  • Step 2: Place chocolate, syrup and butter in a large heatproof bowl and sit bowl over a saucepan of simmering water and stir until melted and smooth.

  • Step 3: Remove and cool before adding chocolate bars, biscuits/cookies and walnuts to chocolate mixture and stir to combine.

  • Step 4: Spoon into prepared pan and smooth over lightly, leaving jagged rough edges on surface.

  • Step 5: Refrigerate overnight or until set.

  • Step 6: To serve, lift slice from pan and place on a chopping board and cut into pieces.

  • Step 7: NOTE - Violet Crumbles can be replaced with honeycomb pieces.
