Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 12 ounces dry egg noodles
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 1/4 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 yellow onion (finely chopped)
  • 3 teaspoons minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 teaspoons Italian seasoning (italian dressing mix)
  • 16 ounces tomato sauce (canned)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • Cooking spray

How to Make

  • Step 1: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil; add the egg noodles and cook according to package directions. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

  • Step 2:

  • Step 3: While the noodles are cooking, heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium high heat.

  • Step 5: Add the ground beef to the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes, breaking up the meat with a spatula, and drain the grease

  • Step 7: Add the onion and garlic to the pan and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until onion has softened and beef is cooked through.

  • Step 9: Add the tomato sauce and Italian seasoning to the beef and stir to combine.

  • Step 11: Drain the noodles and add to the pan with the beef; toss to combine.

  • Step 12:

  • Step 13: Pour the beef and noodle mixture into a 9"x13" baking pan that's been coated in cooking spray.

  • Step 14: Top with Mozzerella cheese

  • Step 16: Bake for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with parsley and Grated Parmesean and serve.
