  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 ounces unsweetened chocolate squares (melted)
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons water, hot
  • 3 large eggs (separated)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • FOR CREAM SAUCE
  • 3/4 cup cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt butter in sauce pan. Stir in flour. Slowly add milk constantly stirring for 2 minutes. Bring to boil. Take off heat.

  • Step 2: In another bowl add chocolate, sugar and hot water. Blend in to milk mixture.

  • Step 3: Beat yolks. Temper into milk mixture.

  • Step 4: Beat whites until stiff. Fold in with vanilla

  • Step 5: Turn into buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole,souffle pan,straight sided

  • Step 6: Bake 350 degrees oven for 25minutes

  • Step 7: Serve immediately with cream

  • Step 8: Cream: Beat together
