Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 cups beef stock
  • 1 cup chopped cabbage (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup potatoes, diced
  • 1 stalk celery, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups tomatoes (canned)
  • 1 can (15 ounce) beets, diced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped dill,
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • Pepper, dash

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large stock pot, melt butter and sauté the onions and celery.

  • Step 2: Add the rest of the ingredients except the beets.

  • Step 3: Simmer for 30 minutes, add the beets and juice from the can, continue to simmer for another 5 minutes.
