Step 1: Melt butter in a large frying pan; add onion and celery and cook, stirring occasionally, until soft.
Step 2: Remove pan from heat; stir in remaining ingredients except additional butter.
Step 3: Transfer oat mixture to a greased 2-quart casserole dish; smooth down top.
Step 4: Cover and bake at 350F for 1 hour, or until crisp on top and edges are browned.
Step 5: If dressing is too dry, drizzle with additional melted butter until desired moistness.
