Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 pounds potatoes (peeled, try to have them about the same size and not too big or too small)
  • 6 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon minced thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed (and peeled)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 500 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Square off ends of potatoes and cut crosswise into 1 inch thick disks. Toss potatoes with the next 4 ingredients (-pepper) and then place them in a 13 x 9 inch baking dish in a single layer.

  • Step 3: Roast for 15 minutes and remove from oven and flip them over using a spatula and then return to oven and roast for another 15 minutes.

  • Step 4: Remove from oven and flip potatoes again and add the broth and garlic and roast for another 15 minutes. Baste with sauce before serving.
