  • 1/2 cup garbanzo beans (canned chickpeas, rinsed and drained)
  • 1/4 cup carrot, cut into matchsticks
  • 2 tablespoons pesto (prepared)
  • 2 ounces chicken sausage (cooked, diced)
  • 1/3 cup Swiss chard (sliced)
  • 24 grams grape tomatoes (3 tomatoes)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a 1-pint side mouth jar (a jelly jar or any jar you have on hand) layer all ingredients in the order listed; seal. Refrigerate until ready to use (can be stored in the fridge until ready to eat or take with you to work or school)

  • Step 2: Add very hot water to jar to within 1 inch of the rim; cover and let stand for 2 minutes before eating.
