Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (or Splenda brown sugar)
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard
  • 1 butt end (4.5 pound) smoked ham
  • 1 can (15.25 ounce) pineapple rings
  • 1 jar (4 ounce) maraschino cherries (drained)
  • 1/4 cup whole cloves

How to Make

  • Step 1: Pre-heat oven to 325F.

  • Step 2: Whisk together pineapple juice, brown sugar & mustard.

  • Step 3: Place ham in a baking dish on a rack, with cut side down.

  • Step 4: Arrange pineapple slices on the ham with cherries in the center. Secure with toothpicks.

  • Step 5: Push cloves into the ham.

  • Step 6: Baste with mustard glaze.

  • Step 7: Bake in pre-heated oven for 1 1/2-2 hours. Baste with glaze every 15 minutes.

  • Step 8: Turn on oven broiler.

  • Step 9: Broil until glaze forms a crust and pineapple slices are browned.

  • Step 10: Watch that they do not get too brown (about 5 minutes).
