Step 1: Heat a toastie/jaffle maker or a small chargrill pan.
Step 2: Butter each slice of bread or one side, then spread the other side of one slice with fig jam, and one with mustard and then top the fig jam with brie and ham and sandwich with the remaining bread, butter side up and place in the toastie/jaffle maker or chargrill pan.
Step 3: If cooking in a pan, squash down a little with the back of a fish slice while cooking and then flip after 2 to 3 minutes when golden, then cook on the other side and serve with a handful of salad leaves, if you like.
