Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs (cut into bite sized morsels, thighs or breasts)
  • 1/4 cup mochiko (sweet rice flour)
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup green onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • Sesame seeds
  • Oil (for frying)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl (except for the oil) and add in chicken pieces.

  • Step 2: Mix well and marinate chicken overnight.

  • Step 3: Fry marinated chicken in 350 Deg. oil turning until golden-brown, 5-9 minutes depending on preference.

  • Step 4: Drain oil from chicken on a strainer or paper towels and sprinkle with sesame seeds -- Eat!

Don't forget the following tips and variations.
  • My pal Kimo's variation: Omit the sesame seeds, and prior to frying, roll the chicken in Panko bread crumbs.
