Step 1: In a large stock pot, melt butter. Season pork chops on both sides.
Step 2: Add onion slices. Brown.
Step 3: Add enough water to cover pork chops (water should be brown). Bring a boil.
Step 4: Meanwhile, in a large bowl mix dumplings. Knead on floured board 10 minutes. Make a oval shape and dust with flour. Place on top of pork chops then cover with water.
Step 5: Cover pot and simmer 1 hour .
Step 6: Uncover and simmer 15 more adding water as needed.
