Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 100 grams dark chocolate (cooking chocolate, chopped)
  • 100 grams unsalted butter (chopped, plus extra for greasing)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup caster sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (plain)
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder (for dusting)
  • TO SERVE
  • 1 carton (1 litre) custard

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 180C.

  • Step 2: Greased six 3/4 cup ramekins and chill for 10 minutes.

  • Step 3: Put chocolate and butter in a medium heavy-based saucepan over a low heat and stir until mixture in smooth and then set aside.

  • Step 4: Meanwhile, put eggs, yolks and sugar in a the bowl of n electric mixer and beat on high for 6 minutes or until thick and creamy and then gradually fold in chocolate mixture and then sift flour over mixture and fold in.

  • Step 5: Divide mixture between prepared ramekins and put on an oven tray and chill for 20 minutes.

  • Step 6: Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until puddings have risen slightly.

  • Step 7: Turn onto serving plates and dust the cocoa and serve with custard.
