  • 3 ounces sliced bacon (3 slices, diced, applewood smoked)
  • 1/2 cup chopped yellow onion
  • 1 can (16 ounce) green beans (undrained)
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 can (16 ounce) whole kernel corn
  • Pepper, dash

How to Make

  • Step 1: In skillet saute the bacon with the onions, until the bacon is done and onions are translucent. Add can of green beans with the liquid. Reduce heat simmer until the link is reduced by half.

  • Step 2: Add the drained corn, sugar, vinegar and pepper. Continue simmering for 5 more minutes. Serve.
