Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 green chilies (fresh Hatch chilies, skinned seeds removed chopped fine) or 3 serrano chilies (skinned seeds removed chopped fine)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 yellow onion (medium onion, chopped)
  • 1/4 cup water, cold
  • 3 medium (400 grams) avocados, mashed
  • Lime or lemon juice (from 2 limes or 2 lemons)
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 3/4 cup oil (vegetable oil)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (optional)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Add the water to a blender or food processor and puree the chiles, garlic and onion.
