Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 345 grams dates (15 medjool dates)
  • 50 to 100 grams almond nut spread (almond butter, must be a good quality almond butter)
  • 100 grams dark chocolate (bitter chocolate, good quality)
  • For Garnish - Ingredients Suggestions: Or your choice
  • Toasted shredded coconut
  • Crushed pistachios
  • Cacao nibs

How to Make

  • Step 1: Slice open the dates & remove the pip. Try not to slice all the way through which makes it easier to stuff.

  • Step 2: Place a teaspoon of almond butter in the cavity where the pip was, then gently push the sides of the date together to seal.

  • Step 3: Melt the chocolate over a double boiler and dip the stuffed dates in chocolate, moving them around until they are completely coated.

  • Step 4: Place on a lined baking tray and sprinkle your choice of garnish over the top.
