The ingredients are:
  • 3 tablespoons margarine (or butter)
  • 1 vidalia onion (medium onion, finely chopped)
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1 large egg (beaten well)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • Step 2: Melt margarine/butter in frying pan and saute onions until translucent.

  • Step 3: Sift together flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and sugar.

  • Step 4: Combine onions, beaten egg and sour cream, then add to dry ingredients and mix well.

  • Step 5: Pour batter into muffin tin that is coated in cooking spray.

  • Step 6: Bake for 20 minutes.
