Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 400 grams ground pork (lean)
  • 2 tablespoons Thai seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Thai seasoning (extra)
  • 1 litre water
  • 1 litre low-sodium beef stock
  • 1 packet (1 kilogram) soup starter (fresh mixed soup starter, vegetable and baby corn)
  • 1 can (410) corn spears (baby)
  • 1/2 cup fresh herbs (a handful specified, for garnish)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Take lean pork mince and add 2 tablespoons Thai seasoning mix and mix well and shape into meatballs.

  • Step 2: Combine 1 litre each of water and salt-reduced beef stock in a pan and bring to the boil and then reduce the heat.

  • Step 3: Add extra seasoning mix and simmer for 5 minutes and then add meatballs and cook until tender and then add vegetables and baby corn and simmer for 2 minutes.

  • Step 4: Garnish with fresh herbs to serve.
