Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 cans (16 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls (each can 8 ounce)
  • 700 grams peaches (4 large ripe)
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 8 ounces butter
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 12 ounces Mountain Dew beverage

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  • Step 2: First, peel and quarter the peaches. (Scoring an X on the end of the peach and blanching them briefly makes peeling very easy.)

  • Step 3: Open the crescent rolls and separate them into triangles. Roll up a peach slice in one crescent triangle, starting with the wide end of the triangle. Lay the peach slice in a lightly greased 13 by 9 baking dish. Repeat with remaining peaches and crescents.

  • Step 4: Melt the butter. Mix the melted butter with the cinnamon and sugar. Drizzle the butter-sugar mixture all over the peaches.

  • Step 5: Pour Mountain Dew over the dumplings.

  • Step 6: Bake for 45 minutes, or golden brown and bubbly.

  • Step 7: If you are feeling over the top, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
