Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 kilogram pork ribs
  • 50 ml soy sauce
  • 50 ml plum sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • 1 yellow onion (small finely chopped, I will do it chunky for the DH and his intolerance to onion so he can easily remove it and not ingest it)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 teaspoons sesame oil

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place pork ribs in slow cooker with meat side of ribs facing up.

  • Step 2: Mix all other ingredients together and pour over the ribs making sure ribs are covered.

  • Step 3: Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours (time will vary depending on your slow cooker).

  • Step 4: When cooked to your liking place ribs on a foiled lined baking tray in a single layer and then spoon sauce from the slow cooker over the ribs and then place in a 180C oven for 5 to 10 minutes to give them some colour and a slight crispness.

  • Step 5: ALTERNATIVE - use apricot jam instead of plum if you prefer.
