The ingredients are:
  • 1 package (16 ounce) pierogies, frozen (potato and cheese)
  • 7 ounce kielbasa sausage (sliced, chicken sausage also tastes yummy)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (soften)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • Fresh parsley (optional topping)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 375°F.

  • Step 2: Prepare a 2-quart baking dish with cooking spray.

  • Step 3: Place frozen pierogies evenly in casserole. Top with sausage.

  • Step 4: In medium bowl, mix together 1 cup of shredded cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, pepper and garlic salt.

  • Step 5: Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over sausage and pierogies an pour in broth. Cover and bake for bake 30-35 minutes.

  • Step 6: Uncover, and top with remaining cheese. Continue baking for 3 to 5 minutes, until cheese is melted.
