Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 51 grams dry quinoa (rinsed, 1/2 cup)
  • 1 cup water
  • Nutmeg, 1 pinch
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger root
  • 14 grams flax seed oil (1 tablespoon)
  • 1/3 cup chopped prunes
  • 61 grams rice beverage (rice milk, 1/4 cup)

How to Make

  • Step 1: N a small pot, stir 1/2 cup quinoa, a pinch of nutmeg and 1 tsp of grated ginger into a cup of water. Bring to a boil.

  • Step 2: Reduce the heat, cover the pot and simmer for 10 minutes.

  • Step 3: Stir in the prunes and rice milk.

  • Step 4: Cover again and cook another 5 minutes.

  • Step 5: Before serving, stir in 1 tbsp of flaxseed oil.
