Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 packet (450 gram) hokkien noodles
  • 1 kilogram fresh shrimp (prawns, peeled and deveined tails intact, I prefer to remove tails)
  • 1 red onion (cut into wedges)
  • Broccolini (2 bunches, cut into 5cm lengths)
  • 120 grams stir-fry sauce ( honey and soy stir-fry sauce)
  • 1 cup coriander leaves

How to Make

  • Step 1: Prepare the noodles following packet directions.

  • Step 2: Heat a large greased wok over high heat and add half the prawns and stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until prawns curl and change colour and then transfer to a plate and repeat with remaining prawns.

  • Step 3: Stir-fry the onion and broccolini in the wok for 2 minutes or until broccolini is just tender and then return the prawns to the wok with the noodles and stir-fry sauce and stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until heat through and well combined.

  • Step 4: Sprinkle with coriander to serve.
