Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 8 ounces dry spaghetti (or angel hair pasta)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh herbs, optional (chives, dill or rosemary, or use your favorite herbs)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a pot, heat olive oil to medium-high heat, then add garlic and stir for 1-2 minutes. Add butter and stir until melted, being careful not to let the garlic burn.

  • Step 2: Add salt, pepper and chicken stock. Raise the heat to high and bring to boil.

  • Step 3: Once stock is at a rolling boil, add pasta and cook according per the time on the pasta package.

  • Step 4: Reduce heat to medium and add Parmesan cheese. Stir until melted. Turn off heat and stir in cream and fresh herbs. Serve immediately.
