Step 1: In a pot, heat olive oil to medium-high heat, then add garlic and stir for 1-2 minutes. Add butter and stir until melted, being careful not to let the garlic burn.
Step 2: Add salt, pepper and chicken stock. Raise the heat to high and bring to boil.
Step 3: Once stock is at a rolling boil, add pasta and cook according per the time on the pasta package.
Step 4: Reduce heat to medium and add Parmesan cheese. Stir until melted. Turn off heat and stir in cream and fresh herbs. Serve immediately.
