Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 280 grams pork loin chops (2 chops)
  • 2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 200 grams green beans (trimmed)
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds (black or white sesame seeds, or a mix of both plus extra to serve)
  • FOR MISO SAUCE
  • 2 tablespoon miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon mirin
  • 2 tablespoon yuzu juice (or 1 tablespoon each lime and grapefruit juice)
  • 1 tablespoon caster sugar (golden)
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (English mustard)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix the sauce ingredients together in a small bowl and then rub a spoonful of the sauce over each pork chop and reserve the rest to serve alongside.

  • Step 2: Heat a chargrill pan until hot and bring a pan of water to the boil.

  • Step 3: Drizzle the chops with 1 teaspoon of the sesame oil and cook for 5 minutes each side r until cooked through.

  • Step 4: Meanwhile cook the beans in the boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain.

  • Step 5: Heat the remaining oil in the same pan, add the beans and sesame seeds, and cook for 2 minutes.

  • Step 6: Serve the chops with the beans, the remaining mixo sauce and an extra sprinkling of sesame seeds.
