Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 1/4 cup water
  • 200 grams dry long-grain rice (white rice, dry 1 cup, jasmine is good)
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons butter (no margarine)
  • Ground pepper (if desired)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350*F

  • Step 2: Spray a 8x8 casserole dish and set aside.

  • Step 3: In a saucepan, bring chicken broth & water to a boil. Add rice, sugar, salt and lemon juice. Stir well.

  • Step 4: Pour into a greased casserole dish.

  • Step 5: Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

  • Step 6: Remove from oven and stir in butter. Serve Immediately.
