Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 tablespoon butter (or margarine)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 5 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/3 cup Splenda (or white sugar)
  • 5 drops hot sauce (Tabasco sauce)
  • 1/2 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/4 cups pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomato (canned)
  • 3/4 cups chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 pound ground beef (made into 12 ready made raw meatballs, your favourite)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven 350F.

  • Step 2: Mix the cornstarch with water until smooth.

  • Step 3: In a saucepan combine all the ingredients except pineapple and green pepper.

  • Step 4: Cook over medium high heat, stirring all the while, for apprx 5 minutes, or until the sauce is thick and clear. Add pineapple .

  • Step 5: Place meatballs in an oven proof casserole dish.

  • Step 6: Pour sauce overland pace in preheated oven uncovered.

  • Step 7: Bake for 25 minutes, stir in the chopped green pepper.

  • Step 8: Continue baking for a further 10 minutes.

  • Step 9: Nice served over rice or noodles.
