Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 pound salmon filet, skin on
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chives
  • 1 shallot, thinly sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 large garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons dried fine herbs
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 lemon, cut in to wedges

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat the BBQ to medium heat

  • Step 2: Place the salmon, skin side down on a piece of double foil large enough to totally enclose the filet

  • Step 3: Rub the salmon with the olive oil, sprinkle with chives, shallots, onion, garlic, dill, fine herbs, season with salt and pepper

  • Step 4: Fold the foil around the salmon like an envelope, pour in the wine and tightly seal the foil

  • Step 5: BBQ for 10 minutes, flip the salmon. After 20 minutes open the foil and check if totally cooked, if not continue for an additional few minutes

  • Step 6: Remove skin and serve
