Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 thin (150 gram) pizza crust
  • 2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce (tomato and basil)
  • 125 grams low-fat mozzarella cheese (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tablespoon capers (salted, rinsed and drained)
  • Sea salt
  • Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon pesto (basil pesto)
  • 4 slices (100 grams) prosciutto ham (torn)
  • Basil leaves, to serve

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat a large frypan with a lid over medium heat.

  • Step 2: Brush both sides of the pizza base with oil, then place upside-down in the frypan and cover with the lid and cook for 2 minutes, then flip over.

  • Step 3: Spread the pasta sauce over the base, then scatter over the mozzarella and capers and season.

  • Step 4: Cover with the lid, reduce the heat to medium-low and continue to cook for a further 5 to 6 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the base is crisp.

  • Step 5: Slide the pizza onto a boards and drizzle over the pesto and scatter with prosciutto and basil leaves to serve.
