Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 ounces gin
  • 3/4 ounce Aperol
  • 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 ounce simple syrup
  • 1 lime wedge
  • 6 slices cucumber (unpeeled, divided use)
  • Chile salt, such as Tajín

How to Make

  • Step 1: Pour some chile salt into a shallow dish. Wet the rim of a rocks glass with the lime wedge, then dip it into the chile salt to coat the rim. Fill the glass with ice.

  • Step 2: Place 3 of the cucumber slices in a cocktail shaker and muddle them. Add the gin, Aperol, lime juice, simple syrup, and a large handful of ice, and shake until frosty (about 20 seconds). Strain into the salted glass.

  • Step 3: Dip one edge of each of the 3 remaining slices of cucumber into the chile salt and use them as a garnish - either on a cocktail pick or on the side of the glass.
