Step 2: PIE: In a saucepan put the milk, sugar, cornstarch, salt, and beaten egg yolks; cook over medium heat till it begins to boil; simmer for about 1/2 to 1 minute and thickens and take off heat.
Step 3: Add the vanilla and let sit a few minutes while making the meringue.
Step 4: Whip egg whites using a couple tablespoons of sugar to make the meringue.
Step 5: Put the custard in the graham pie shell; add meringue and sprinkle the saved crumbs on top; bake at 400 degrees till golden.
