  • 1 pound lean ground pork
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 5 large cloves garlic (peeled, smashed)
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon granulated sugar (or sugar substitute)
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3 teaspoon rice vinegar

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat

  • Step 2: Add onions & garlic, fry for 3 minutes or until onions are translucent & the garlic aromatic

  • Step 3: Add pork, separate so there are no lumps

  • Step 4: Meanwhile mix together the broth, soy sauce, sugar & chili flakes

  • Step 5: When the pork is lightly browned pour in the broth mixture,

  • Step 6: Continue cooking uncovered until broth has evaporated

  • Step 7: Sprinkle on the rice vinegar & serve
