Step 1: Drain pineapple, reserving 1/2 cup juice. Set the pineapple aside.
Step 2: In a large microwave-safe, combine juice and marshmallows. Microwave on high 1 minute; stir. Microwave 1 minute longer or until mixture is smooth
Step 3: Refrigerate 30 minutes or until slightly thickened and cooled.
Step 4: Fold in whipped topping and pineapple.
Step 5: Pour into crust, cover and chill for 2 hours or until firm.
Step 6: Garnish with cherries if desired.
