Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • FOR CAKE
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 can (20 ounce) crushed pineapple (& juice)
  • FOR ICING
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded coconut (sweetened)
  • 1 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2/3 cup evaporated (or small can evaporated milk)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  • Step 2: Mix together all cake ingredients and pur into 9x13 glass pan, sprayed with Pam.

  • Step 3: Bake 350 40 minutes

  • Step 4: Make icing last 20 minutes to make icing put all ingredients into and pour on warm cake

  • Step 5: Put all icing ingrdienst in medium saucepan and simmer 10-12 minute.

  • Step 6: Pour warm icing on cake right when it comes out of oven.

  • Step 7: Pour on warm cake.
