Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 cups mushrooms (fresh)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 large eggs (hard-cooked egg yolks)
  • 2 egg yolks (raw, beaten)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (soft)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • Hot sauce, dash of

How to Make

  • Step 1: Wash mushrooms,drain; dry; remove stems.

  • Step 2: Place mushroom caps,stems in lightly greased 2 1/2 quart casserole dish.

  • Step 3: Season with salt,pepper,lemon juice.

  • Step 4: Mash hard-cooked egg yolks;add raw egg yolks; bread crumbs; butter, hot sauce and blend well.

  • Step 5: Sprinkle egg-crumb mixture on top of mushrooms.

  • Step 6: Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees.

  • Step 7: Enjoy.
