Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 (6-8 ounce) ahi tuna steaks
  • 2 tablespoons dark sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice or rice vinegar

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix together the marinade ingredients. Place tuna in zip lock bag and pour in marinade. Refrigerator for 2+ hours, turning often.

  • Step 2: Heat non-stick skilled over medium-high heat. Once the pan is hot, remove tuna from marinade and sear on both sides for 2-4 minutes (depending on desired doneness).

  • Step 3: Remove from pan and place in freezer for 30 minutes. Slice thinly and serve with soy/wasabi sauce. Pairs well with a triple cream cheese and water crackers.
