Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 235 grams pitted dates (1 1/2 cups)
  • 1 cup pistachio nuts ( raw, you could also use walnuts, pecans, macadamias or almonds also)
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut (or shredded)
  • Rose water (a few drops of rose water, or you could substitute with orange water) Note: Don't go overboard with the rose water only a drop or 2!
  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder (raw)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place cacao powder in a bowl.

  • Step 2: Place the first four ingredients in a processor and blitz the ingredients until smooth and forming a ball.

  • Step 3: Take out then form into small balls with your hands, when in even shaped balls, roll the balls in the cacao powder.

  • Step 4: Set in fridge for about 20 minutes.
