Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 260 grams choizo sausages (thinly sliced, cured)
  • 4 large (280 grams) flour tortillas
  • Red capsicum dip (2/3 cup)
  • 1 cup grated cheese (four-cheese mix)
  • 60 grams baby spinach leaves
  • Bought tomato salsa, to serve

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat a frying pan over moderate heat and cook chorizo for 3 minutes or until browned.

  • Step 2: Preheat a sandwich press.

  • Step 3: For each toastie, place a tortilla on a clean work surface and spread with a quarter of the dip and top half of the tortilla with a quarter each of the cheese, spinach and sausage and then fold over tortilla to form a semicircle and then repeat to make 4 in total.

  • Step 4: Cook in sandwish press, in batches, for 4 minutes or until heated and toasted and then cut in half and serve with salsa.
